ashanti marshall

Ashanti Marshall is an Edmonton singer-songwriter and front-woman for the band Noisy Colours. She has been playing guitar for 7 years, and piano for 11, and is always hoping to grow and learn as a musician, whether it is on her own in coffee shops, or in the depths of the Edmonton club and pub scene.

She is inspired by anything and everything, from blues to heavy metal to bubblegum pop. However she does it, Ashanti Marshall wants to move you with music.

124_streetIn 1988 the merchants of the business district, 124th Street, extending from Jasper Avenue north to 111 Avenue in central Edmonton, formed a business association. Through the efforts of many members working with the Board over the years, 124th Street has physically improved with streetscaping and infrastructure work. Many businesses have seen the benefits of locating or expanding within the 124th Street business area.

Many of the businesses have been on 124th Street for years, providing specialty sales and service to Edmonton and surrounding areas.

With easy access to 124th Street, the area has become a natural business district for specialty shops, professional services, fine restaurants and bistros. 124th Street is the home of the famous "Gallery Walk", featuring some of the best art the city has to offer.
