jordan norman

My name is Jordan Norman and I am a singer/songwriter living in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada. I usually perform with a very talented artist named Ashley Hynes. I have been playing guitar for approximately 5 years.

I am very young, only 18 years of age but I do not believe my music reflects that. I am influenced by a range of rock and roll from the power of grunge, such as Nirvana, to the soft hearted acoustics of Neil Young and Damien Rice.  My music falls in the middle of those two genres. My style has been described as “grunge goes acoustic”.

I have slowly been performing around venues in Edmonton, Fort Saskatchewan, and even venturing out to Jasper, with crowd sizes ranging from just four people, to over three hundred people. I sometimes play shows under the alias of “The Pregnant Teenagers”If not that, then I just stick with Jordan Norman. Just recently, I finished recording my second EP titled “Sounds Like…” (the dots are very important) and I am very excited about it.

comments & reviews
Jordan Norman is an artist with a depth of expression far beyond his age. A unique and profound voice. His songs are creative and exude a maturity and feelings rarely seen in performers twice his age
